Umbilical Cord Hats from SnB

Hi Everyone!

A couple of fellow professors are ‘expecting’ this fall, as well as a cousin, so I decided to knit up a few umbilical cord hats to have on hand.

I used caron simply soft baby brites.

I tried to get my cat Vinny to model the pastel version, but as you can see, he wasn’t having any of it.:teehee:

I made this hat for my nephew, I love the pattern! I’m even thinking about making a few more just in case any one I know gets caught with a bun in the oven.

The hats are too cute for words! I’m in the process of picking out some baby patterns to make for a friend and I have the SnB book but didn’t even think to look in it! :doh:
