Ugh

So I’m new at this… and right now I’m struggling with holding the needles right and holding the yarn right… and tension… fun! So here is my question, I get these icky loose loops at the end of my rows. What am I doing wrong?

Loose stitches at the end of a row are normal and get better with practice.

One way is to pull that first stitch tight–almost let the stitch from the previous row wrap itself around the needle. Another way is to slip the first stitch of every row without wrapping it. This way the end stitch gets knit every other row and the edges are more even.

Yup, trust this noobie - it’s true!

I’ve done this to much sucess - even a compliment or two.

Keep going and don’t keep starting over. It’ll all come together soon!
