Ugh oh...two steps forward. one step back

Hi everyone…Just when I got real comfortable (with:knitting: knowledge) then I just had a duh moment. I am working on a “fake Isle” hat, it’s using 2 different dec (k2tog and SSK) so I decided to “check out” the videos here to see what the difference is…anyway I know “how to do them” but the definition says" knit thru the “back loop”, but the video shows goint thru (what I thought to be the front of the loop) So is the “back loop” the back of the front of the loop??? Yikes…:zombie: Cheley

When you do the SSK, you do slip them through the front loop, and then you do put your left tip through the two front loops. The end result, though, has the right needle through the back loops where you knit from.

Good pictures here as well as other good info.
