Two socks on one circular

I was just in the states for a week, and came home with a book called “knitting 2 socks on one circular”. I kinda skimmed through it on the plane, but I¨m wondering if it´ll work for socks, shouldn`t it work for sleeves worked in the round?

I have the body of a sweater done, and started a sleeve on dpn´s. but am hoping that I will be able to do the two on one circ - it may take me longer, but how happy would I be ( :woohoo: ) if both sleeves were done at the same time!!!

Waddya think?

Karen

:thumbsup: I think you should be able too…I haven’t done two socks on one circ…only one sock on one circ though :teehee: …

Sorry, just looked at the title, and it´s called " 2-at-a-time socks"

I have this book, and have done the ‘sample’ socks, but I haven’t tried to knit 2-of anything else. It seems like it would work for anything else you would knit in the round (socks, mittens, sleeves). Let us know if you decide to try it!

Yes, it will work! You might need a loooonger needle, since sleeves get bigger then socks (stitches around, is what I mean!)

:woohoo:

I´m on it girls!!!
Thanks for the help!

I do 2 at once on;
top down sweaters,
and mittens top down
done 2 slippers at once

I find doing 2 at once to be a very good thing, keeps me from having SSS (single sock/slipper syndrome) or uneven arms
each row, increase and decrease are identical it is a good thing

I’ve done it for sleeves, not socks yet. The sleeves even had a band of colorwork on them. It worked great. It was soooo nice to have both sleeves done and ready to go when I finished up the body of the sweater.
