Yeah! I made the first one out of JoAnn’s Sensations Rainbow Classic with size 7 needles and it came out HUGE so I made the second one with TLC baby multi print with size 3 needles and it came out more baby size looking. I love this pattern. I am SOOOooo making more. And I know a couple of people to make it for too!
So cute! you can do an i-cord edge or even crochet a scalloped edge. Fun!
Here’s a pic of the small one alone

Ah lets try that again
AARRGGGG OK one more time

Yeah I’m still thinking of what kind of collar to make. I think I’m going to use a crochet hook and “hook” up the seams. it’ll make a nice chain along the top of the sleeves.
They look great!!! BSJ is next on my list…I bought the pattern last month.
Any tips/suggestions!?!?
:yay: Great job!!
I love this yarn! I love pastel variegateds! Your work is wonderful! Thanks for sharing! Great!
Beautiful! I love them…they turned out great.
They look great!!!
Awwww…those are really cute!!! What great baby colors!
Those look FANTASTIC!!! Thanks for posting, I’m wanting to make these for my kids for this fall. My kids are ages 4, 2 & 7mo. what size do you think the big one was? Could you measure for me wrist to wrist so I can get an idea how long the sleeves/body are, thanks.
The problem here is that the sleeves are actually more 3/4 or less unless you add length. I made a couple worsted weight ones that would probably fit a 4 yr old. The size is adjust through needle size and yarn weight.
Those are ADORABLE!! I so want to make this pattern-ack! Too many patterns! :teehee:
can’t wait to see your other ones too!
Very cute, the pastel is so sweet.
Both sweaters will fit sometime. So no wasted effort. That is one reason I love baby things.
Good work. That pattern is such a treasure. I’ve never made it, but I love it.
do you think after making one it would be easy enough to co more sts in the area for the sleeves making them longer, or is it something that would be better pu-ing sts after the fact and going from there in the round? I have the pattern, just haven’t had the time yet.
So pretty. I need to make a baby sweater, was it hard?
