Oh, for the yarn I used Red Heart on the first one. That’s certainly not my favorite yarn because it’s a little too rough for my taste. But, I loved the color and couldn’t find anything else comparable. The second one is Pound of Love from Lion Brand yarn.
Both were from patterns I got from a little book up in NH that was just all scarfs. There was one in that book that had beads and I wanted to try that too. You had to thread the beads onto your yarn at the beginning and then pull them down when you needed them. I never got around to it. There are just soooo many projects I want to do and not enough time!
