Twisted knit stitch

Hi everyone,
I want to make a bag, and the instruction states:
Pickup and knit twisted 16 stitches along first edge of rectangle.
(knitting in a round needle)

How do I do twisted kint stitches?

Everyone has that question about this pattern – you don’t have to twist the sts.

I guess would be to knit in the back loop. That twists stitches.
