Twisted German CO

Gina, that second picture is a great way of portraying it!

Thank you Denise

This one you will use it. It is the best CO ever for ribbing. It’s super elastic - I really love it. And after you get the hang of it, it’s as easy and as fast as long tail CO.

Woolen Hats off to you for learning thru pictures!!! :cheering: I could never do that. My aunt and my mom had to show it to me many many times before I got it.

Have fun :XX:

Gina

When I read this post, my initial thought was, “This is the same as Old Norwegian CO,” which Amy has here on video: http://www.knittinghelp.com/knitting/basic_techniques/index.php. I quickly Googled the two different names and got the following: Twisted German, German Twisted, Old Norwegian, and Twisted Half-Hitch are all the same thing – just different names for it. The trickiest part of Old Norwegian is to remember to point your thumb downward to go through the loop correctly. It’s a very pretty CO!

OMG!! You are totally right Jackie!
And there was a movie about it right here all the time!

That’s very interesting, Jackie! Good info!

I looked at all instructions, Pics and Videos, I do not get it
I guess when I need it I will
till then, Ta Ta

I will have to learn something else today
