Twist 2 Stitch

:muah: I did post one time before in regards to help with the twist 2 stitch-is it slipping 2 from left needle, to right then from there i
pass up the first slipped stitch , the from there?
Thank you
DeEtta

Usually to make a twist 2, you knit into the 2nd st on the left needle, leave it there and knit the 1st st, then go on to the next stitch. If you have a pattern it should say how to do it. But maybe twist 2 isn’t what I think you mean.

Thank you Suzeeq- I think that is the stitch that I’m looking for-some what of a mock cable?
DeEtta

Okay, yes, that’s it.

Ah, I think it was Sue who had told me you could slip two knit-wise, then slip them back one at a time (also knit-wise) to then just knit in the new order.

I must find that picture of my completed Columns Scarf that uses a two stitch twisted cable.

Hmmm, that doesn’t sound familiar for a twist st. Maybe for a decrease…
