Hi, everyone. I recently learned a new short row heel method from Kathleen Taylor’s Dakota Dreams. However, after working with it a bit, I decided to pick up a different stitch to close the gap. What resulted was a very smooth, firm turn. It also has very little added bulk, and should wear rather well.
As I believe there is nothing new under the sun, some of you might already know how to do this, but I thought a pictorial illustration might help someone who learns by seeing-people like me.
Feel free to download the process at my website, and give it a try.
Have fun! knit-tweaker
