im making a pair of baby shoes and in the pattern it says k10, turn i no wot k10 is bt wot am i meant to do for this turn?

It literally means to turn the work to the other side, just the way you would if you were at the end of a row.

When you knit the 10 stitches, then you turn the work and knit or purl back in the other direction. There will be some stitches left on the needle unknitted; just ignore them, you will work them later.
