I agree with you, Jill65…if you knit tight it is harder to knit this method. Still, I find it the most satisfying way of knitting, and flip to it unconsciously often…depends on the item. And its way FAST.
Hi, KPG! :waving:
Thanks for posting amazing video! Holey-Moley! She is FAST!!!
I knit continental but am always looking for ways to get more efficient and truthifully, to knit faster, too! So many projects, so few years in a lifetime…
This was wonderful to watch!
Thanks again! :clink:

That is very fast indeed. I knit a bit like this - although I like to flap my hands around a bit more -not least because they will cramp up without a bit of flapping. It took me and probably everyone else - including oldspeedy gongalez fingers - sometime to get the right hold. dont panic, nobody panic.
With this flicker/lever style of knitting, I’m trying to figure out the way the yarn is wrapped around the fingers, but I can’t seem to find an answer.
Thank you for introducing me to Stephanie’s videos and blog. I had no idea she was so funny!
I do knit sort-of like that, my Grandma taught me, but I get a cramp in my right thumb, right at the base, so I must be holding something wrong. I will review Steph’s methods again.
