Trying to find toddler unisex and 6 year old boys patterns

hi

i am after some ideas for patters as i keep on coming up a blank for ideas. i keep finding things that i’m simply not sure i can do at my very basic level of knitting. i have made numerous jumpers/jackets for my son (he’s 4 next month, but i knit small, so usually knit a size above. and as i am getting ready for winter now).

any ideas please? i am also looking for unisex patterns for a toddler as a friend is adopting a toddler (sex isn’t known yet) i wanted to make their new arrival a presant.

any idaes again please?

many thanks

susi

Have you checked the Boy’s Clothing section and the Toddler’s Clothing section of Knitting Pattern Central?

Have you tried www.littleturtleknits.com? Her patterns aren’t free, but I have found they are well worth the price. They are very well-written, with appendices that teach new skills in a really clear way. I am doing the bucket hat and vest for my 3 month old.
I also have the knitted ball, raglan in the round, braided cap, easy peasy cardigan, market sack, and many others. There are some free patterns for hats, scarves, and a really sweet primitive angel, so you can see if you like her writing style.

HTH some

They have so many FREE sock patterns you won’t know where to start. I hope this helps but I think it may take days to go through them all.
