So a friend of mine asked me if I could make these for her.
I think I could just come up with it on my own if need be. But I thought it I could find a pattern would be better. I just started knitting . So I don’t want something that will be to frustating to do.
They are pretty simple. On a normal hat you decrease every other row usually. If you want the top longer you leave more rows in between the decreases. Here’s a couple to see how they did it.

It looks like they took the peak of the hat as far as they could and then added a twisted cord to the end to carry it a bit further.
It does seem a bit impractical to me but it will give the baby something to chew on… LOL!:teehee:
