Hello!! I’m getting ready to try my very first baby hat - I have a pattern, but need pointers on knitting ‘in the round’. I’m a little intimidated by this! I really want to do it, though, so ANY tips would be wonderful!! Thanks!
How large is the hat going to be?
If it’s large enough you can use a 16in circular, but you may need to use DPNs.
Tips… 
[ul]When knitting in the round you will be working on the OUTSIDE of the circle or loop.
Be careful when joining so you don’t twist your stitches.
The first few rows of DPNs are hard for everyone so be patient.
