Hi…been awhile since I posted a pic…flickr is not being nice, they changed things around…to share a pic they are not giving me an option to “grab” the URL…on html any clues? Thanks
I’ve been successful in posting pictures directly from my computer by using the paper clip icon.
Nope that’s not working either…On flickr, do you just open the photo, go to drop down share, then grab the link? cuz that’s what I am doing…It was a different “menu” on flickr last year…It was exactly as Jan has in her instructions…unless I am going:hair: ya know “bonkers”
I’ve never used Flickr to host pictures. Jan says that they’ve changed the ‘rules’ over there, so you can’t ‘grab’ the link or picture as easily, so is figuring out how to change the instructions to make it work.
Yep, Flickr changed. I will change the information when I get a chance.
I looked a bit and you can use Picasa to post a photo now or use the paper clip. Remember the if you use the paper clip to attach the photo must be on your computer. It won’t work for online photos.
Thank you, yea I tried the “paperclip” but my photo is too “large”…and I do not know how to re size it…I will try Picasa…thx again…
I use Flickr exclusively. The extra step we’re now forced to take is: From the initial view of the targeted photo we now need to click the tab located at the left that takes us to ‘view other sizes’. From that next page we can choose our preferred size, right click the size we want, and then select ‘copy image location’ (not COPY IMAGE) and paste it into our KH post using the image tool. Same as always.
I wish I knew why Flickr felt the need to mess around with their software and its performance!

So happy it worked! 
Although it takes one additional step to access VIEW ALL SIZES,
it’s actually more useful in the end!

From the targeted photo’s page, the access TAB is called “Actions” and it provides a drop-down box from which to select your action, in this case VIEW ALL SIZES.
