Trouble with a pattern

:knitting: I am having a problem with a baby sweater that I am knitting, the pattern is
k 5 row
p 1 k1 across next row
k
p1 k1 across row
I am doing the left front and it tells me to keep the continuity of the pattern while I am binding off 4 sts on the wrong side(p1 k1 side)
but when I go to do the next p1 k 1 row, it throws the pattern off, I had no trouble with the right hand side of the sweater as I didn’t have to worry about the pattern continuity as much…confused here…!

When you BO 4 sts, you can’t start the next k p row with a knit st, you start that pattern on the 5th st, which would be a purl. Just do a knit st above the previous knit and the purl st above the previous purl.
