Piano Scarf from Judy’s Knitting page. It is Double English knitting style using black and white yarn for a piano scarf. Having a real problem following the video how to start and carry the 2 colours of yarn. Have watched the video a dozen times but still having trouble even slowed it to half speed. Any suggestions appreciated.

You can carry the two colors in one hand, left or right depending on your knitting style or you can carry one color in each hand.
Here’s a nice video but there are many others out there if you google how to work double knitting. This one uses both colors in one row.
Your pattern may have different directions for the cast on or the first and last sts.
It’s also possible to work each row by knitting the knits and slipping the purls with the one color then work the next row by slipping the knit and purling the bumps with the second color.
