Well, I was 3/4 of the way done making the diagonal lace scarf for my mom, but I made one too many mistakes and frogged it. Then I cast on for this instead - I think she will like it better… Thanks for posting!

It looks very difficult, but you say it isn’t…going to give it a try, even though I’m not really a great knitter.
Woodi, give it a shot! We’re always here to help- you’re welcome to pm me if you have any questions about the pattern. One thing I would recommend- use a lifeline! That way if you mess up and you can’t easily undo it, you can just rip out a few rows down to your lifeline, and then easily pick your stitches back up.
