I am trying to duplicate a sweater I have that is wearing out. It is v-neck in the front and back. Can I do this type of sweater in a top down format? Would it be easier to make the back crew and the front v-neck?

In a top down V neck you start out like a top down crew neck, except – you only assign 1 st for each front, and you don’t join. Do the raglan increases for the sleeves, 1 every other row; inc at the neck edge every 4th row. When the stitches on the front are the same number as on the back, join and knit across the front in the round.
