Tools from the 1600's

As some of you know I am spending a year in Slovenia…actually it is starting to extend to longer (how much longer, not sure) but recently I visited a farm that has been in exsistence since the 1600’s. It is in such a remote and difficult to travel to part of the country that most everything has been preserved. Up in the attic…look what I found!!!

It was a type of carder. The rough section was at the bottom.


I never would have thought of a carder!
