# Too many stitches left

Hello everyone
I’m trying a new pattern but when I repeat both sections on row 6 4times I should have 9 stitches left but I have 2 extra stitches left. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thank you Michele

There are 14sts before the asterisks and 9 sts after the asterisks. The repeat between the asterisks is 15sts. You repeat this section 6 times so the gives you 14 + 90 + 9 = 113 sts before the row.

The increases mean there’ll be 18sts before the asterisks and 9 after. The repeat increases to 19sts (114sts total within the repeat) so the total is 141 after the row.

You might mark off the initial 14sts, each 15stitch repeat and the final 9sts before you begin. Also check that you’re doing the yarn over correctly. It won’t use up a stitch.

I’m not sure. Which parts are you repeating??

K4 p5 k1 yo k1 4 Times
Then
P10 k1 yo k1 4 Times
Which leaves me 11 stitches left instead of 9
Thank you

K4 p5 k1
(yo k1) 4 Times
p10 k1 (yo k1) 4 times
p10 k1 (yo k1) 4 times
p10 k1 (yo k1) 4 times
p10 k1 (yo k1) 4 times
p10 k1 (yo k1) 4 times
p10 k1 (yo k1) 4 times
p10 k1 (yo k1) 4 times

p5, k4

The repeat between the asterisks also contains a repeat of the (yo, k1) 4 times.
That means yo, k1, yo, k1, yo, k1, yo, k1

Oh my goodness
Thank you so much for your help
