Toe up "no-pick-up gusset" calculations?

I’m looking for some help to modify this toe-up heel that I LOVE a la Los Monos Locos. The author had said she would try to get this available, but it’s been a long time and I don’t want to pester her. Also, the link she provided to the heels and toes website is broken for me, so haven’t been able to do much with it on my own.

Basically what I have been doing on all toe up socks since discovering the Crazy Monkey pattern is MAKING my pattern have the same amount of stitches for the heel so I could use it LOL. Sometimes this is okay, but on larger/smaller gauge projects, can sometimes be icky. I can figure out the pregusset increases no problem, that’s pretty standard, but getting the turn math to work always poses a problem for me.

Thanks in advance!

P.S. I’ve learned the Eye of Partridge pattern, while lovely, isn’t always necessarily suitable for wide-heeled folk (like me,) so I omit that frequently, not worried about that part.
