I was wondering, if you try on the sock to see if it fits as you go, where do you start doing the toe decrease? My pattern calls for a short row toe then kitchner stitch to close.

Most patterns call for an allowance of 2 inches for the toe decrease. I usually start when the sock reaches the bottom of my big toe. It’s really up to you!
