Toddler sock pattern?

Okay, I want to give knitting socks a go. I am low on yarn, and don’t really want to tackle a large pair, so I thought a toddler pair for my son would work.

All I can find is baby socks though and seeing as he is going to be 3 in November, socks for a 1 year old won’t do. Any idea where I can find a pattern?
