I’ve finished my patterns and now the instructions “To make up” is telling me to “cast on edge”.
What does that mean?
The pattern is referring to the “cast on edge” in order to orient the various pieces. The cast on edges are at the shoulders. The cast on edge for the head is at the neck. The cast on edge of the snout is where it will be joined to the head.
So I should sew the seams of the shoulders together(after stuffing, that is) before attaching the head to the neck?
Yes, after seaming the shoulders and attaching the snout to the head, stitch the head onto the body.
