There is a pattern site called The Garter Belt. They have some great patterns free and for sale. I bought the Adirondack Pullover from them and had problems knitting it. After confering with others here it was decided that there was probably an error in the pattern. So I e-mailed the author to find out what the deal was with the pattern and she got back to me right away apologizing for missing that error and then e-mailed me an updated version of the pattern. Not to long after that I recieved another e-mail from her that was a mass e-mail to everyone who had purchased that pattern from her letting them know about the mistake with an updated pattern attached. Needless to say I was impressed and very happy with my experience with them. So keep them in mind for future pattern decisions

Those are really nice patterns. Saw two that I want to try and they’re not even easy ones. Hope to learn a new technique…slip stitch/mosaic knitting.
That Delight hat looks like just what want to make for granddaughter to go with her poncho.
Ciao Mintdee
Thank you for the kind words.
Being available for questions and support as well as listening to people who knit up our designs has been a big focus of ours at The Garter Belt. We all know how difficult and frustrating it is to have a question about a specific design or just can’t quite figure out how something is supposed to be done and of course had no way of contacting the designer.
Your feedback on the pattern is highly appreciated, as soon as Elizabeth sent me the corrections they were uploaded and yes, everybody who had previously purchased the design was alerted to the fact that a correction was made.
bjc1050, mosaic knitting is easy, really. You work only one color at a time so no acrobatics are required. I have a slip stitch/mosaic knitting walk thru .pdf section available to download if you’re looking for a quick overview.
We are always open to suggestions, something you’d like to see? Questions about a design/technique? Let us know.
Mille Grazie and Happy Knitting

Cool stuff!
I learned mosaic knitting at my class on Sunday. It’s really cool and very easy. Wendy has some great patterns. I’m going to make this one:

Thank you thank you! I loved the Adirondack Pullover too, and just bought the pattern. I have (overly-ambitious) dreams of making one for all my favorite guys - DH, DB, DF, and BIL.
