To Azlynn-pocketbook slippers

Love the slippers. I have the pattern in front of me and I hope this is not a dumb question:
After I knit 6 rows of 5 stitches, it says, Next Row:“Increase the second stitch in each row until you have 22 stitches.”

So I’m going to do a whole bunch of rows, increasing each time, right? No just the “next row”.

Yes, it means “starting with the next row”, increase … in each row…

You’ve got the right idea.

Sorry I didn’t see this post! Thanks to Jan for PM’ing me to let me know it was here

Yes, you increase in the second stitch of each row until you have 22 stitches on your needles (I used a YO for my increase to make it prettier).
So after row 7, you would end up with 6 sts on your needle, row 8 you would have 7 sts, row 9 you would have 8 sts, etc.

Then when you have 22 sts on your needle, the next row you will increase every sincle st so that you have 44 sts on your needle. For that row, I increased with a KFB in the first st, then a YO, then KFB for all the rest until the second-to-last st, YO, then KFB (did that make sense?).

I hope that helps.
