Tiny Sweater pattern by Sue Stratford

Hello All!

I am fairly new to knitting and have come to a stand still on knitting a ‘tiny seater’ - pattern reads , under Making Up - ‘With RS facing, K across 16 held sts for the front and back of the sweater. Work in K1,P1 for 10 rows.’ - now I under stand the K1, P1 for ten rows but not the knitting across the 16 sts and it all comes together - has anyone done this pattern ? It is from the book, Mini Christmas Knits.

Hopefully someone can help!!

Welcome to the forum!
You have sts on holders for the front and back of the sweater. Work in k1p1 rib across these 16sts. You can knit the sts directly from the holder or slip them to a needle and knit them to form the collar.
