Can I do a three needle bindoff on a shoulder if I have 31 stitches on the needle and the pattern calls for 3 rows of bindoff for a sloped shoulder shaping? If I can, would I just knit those three rows straight instead of the bindoff. Thanks for your answers.
Three Needle Bindoff
You can add three rows and do three needle bind off. Or you can do short row shaping for the shoulders in preparation for the bind off. I’ve found that for shoulders that are only ‘shaped’ for three rows, it doesn’t seem to make much of a difference.
I’ll try to explain the short rows if you want to go that way.
