Can anyone give me instructions on thread jointing? I need to attach arms and legs to the teddy bear body and can’t find any instructions on how to accomplish this. Thanks for any and all assistance!
There must be several ways to do this but I use a whip stitch to join the arms and legs to the body. You can see one used to join two knitted pieces towards the end of this video. I go into the end of the arm, then into the body and out through the arm stitches and repeat around the arm. I do this firmly so the arm is securely attached.
There are quite a few sites on line with directions and info on how to do thread jointing. Just type in how to do teddybear thread jointing.
