This sweater made me go "EEEEEE!"

With glee, that is.

Eris Pullover and Cardigan from Girl from Auntie.

This is absolutely beautiful, and I’m probably going to have to knit it at some point when I have experience with the tricky cables.

Just thought I’d share with those who may not know this gem is out there.

I got that pattern for my SP7

'Tis a beauetous thing!

Wow! I want to make that too! :XX:

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, I like!!! :inlove:

:inlove: I love that gorgeous sweater! It’s so beautiful!

Do I remember Silver knitting that sweater? It IS gawgeous!

Someone here was knitting it. It is beautiful!

Oh, I had forgotten I had wanted to knit that. I’m going to Florida on vacation next month and I wanted a kinda big project to take with me. Maybe this will be it. What yarn would you use?

I’m thinking these yarns may be the way to go… I see them recommended for a lot of aran projects, and the colors are freekin gorgeous. Another one I hear mentioned a lot are Harrisville Highland…it’s a worsted, but comes in cones…

Mind you, what I really should start focusing on, instead of next fall are some sewing pattern purchases for summer skirts, to wear with all the knit tops I plan on making. Can you tell how much I hate planning for spring & summer wardrobes?

Oh my…that file is 40 pages long. I don’t think I have 40 sheets of paper to print it out. Not to mention the ink in the printer.

I do like those colors, but I was hoping to get yarn today when I take my SIL to the LYS to get her started with some wool for a bag. I was thinking maybe Cascade 220. Would that be ok, do you think? I COULD wait and order something online and start on the tank top I’ve been wanting to knit since last winter. That would be something I could wear in Florida. But this sweater is soooo pretty and I want to start on it now. Obviously I have no patience.

I’ve always thought this would be ideal for Lambs Pride. Someday I’ll do this one. Or that hoodie. sigh

 oooohhhhhh very niceeeeeee! some day i will be at the stage i can knit something like that and i will too its just to nice to pass up.

I just ordered it. I’m printing it up now. I can’t imagine why they need 40 pages, though. Oh, I see, there are 9 sizes.

Ohhh to knit like that!

I also loved this one from the same site

I have the Eris pattern too. I was thinking of doing a KAL, if anyone is interested  Iam going to start it in March and hopefully have it done for the fall.
Iam liking the Amethyst yarn on thats site wow

I started this last night but I only got the first 14 rows done before I was too tired. Now I’m watching the clock like crazy waiting for 4pm so I can go home. Hopefully I can find something quick to throw together for dinner so I can sneak in a rows here and there before I have to put the kids to bed. I just really wish there were more hours in a day…or that I didn’t require so much sleep. :frowning:

What yarn are you using? The 220?

Yes…I already had 3 skeins and I checked at the LYS yesterday and they had more in the same dye lot so I went with that. It’s a pretty blue color. I’m a little slow with the pattern, though. It takes me longer to decipher the chart and remember if I’m supposed to be knitting or purling, but I can’t imagine how long the pattern would have been if they had written all the directions out. Almost time to go home…hopefully I can stay awake to get some more done tonight.

>_< I want that pattern! It’s so beautiful! :inlove:  :inlove: I wish I could buy stuff over the net but I can’t :crying: .
