THIS is what happens to UNSATISFACTORY NEEDLES!

I bought these over a year ago and have NEVER been able to knit on them. They are EVIL five dollar Boye circulars. Here is what happened to them tonight when they devoured precious yardage for the last time…

As you can see, one of the needles is clearly dangling from the rest of the contraption by a length of my delcious cotton yarn - Not by the cable to which it was originally attatched.

I have most of the yarn, but what you see there is mostly scraps after I, in my fury, attempted to rip my cast off edge from the grip of the needles. Unfortunately this turned out to be a mistake because, as I have said, they are impossible to knit with and this means that the yarn is not as forthcoming as one would like…

After I posted that pic, I mangled both of the aluminum needle parts with a pair of needle nose pliers. What do you think?
