This is hilarious!

A friend sent this link to me today. It’s for a “Flying Spaghetti Monster Hat.” It’s crocheted, but just made me giggle! If you aren’t familiar with the Flying Spaghetti Monster it’s a spoof religion created to prove a point in the Intelligent Design debate. The website is hilarious no matter what side of the issue you are on. But the hat is :roflhard:

Here’s the link Flying Spaghetti Monster Hat

:rofling: Pastafarians! :rofling:

Oh MY… :roflhard:

  :roflhard: :roflhard:

I laughed until I cried. I’m going to make DH read this tonight! I want a decal for my car. My favorite bit: Ramendan. :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard:

I’m going to be late picking up the girls at school!

I totally saved that page. That’s awesome lol.

Here’s just a regular knit FSM, not a hat.

And this is a Church of the FSM, built from Legos.

:roflhard:
 That disturbs me a bit…don’t know why…

You know, with a tiny bit of modification, and a clever meatball extrication proceedure, that would look like a very lovely Cthulhu hat in either Fern or Avocado WOTA.

I might have to make one of those for Game Night.

“Help! I’m being devoured!” :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard:

Yep, this is so getting bookmarked.

I am now enlightened about the FSM. I feel that the touch of His Tentacled Appendages has enriched my life immeasurably. I shall never be the same.
Oh, and Wynnie - check this out. There’s a pattern in the comments if you scroll long enough.

i sooooooo want one of those stickers for my car. :cheering:

I  FSM!

Fear the noodly appendage!

That.Is.AWESOME!!!

Of course it is in an lj knitting community I hadn’t joined - I think I joined mostly hogwartsy ones along with charity stuff. Thank you SO much for sharing this! (Love your avatar, btw!)

Actually, I think it was my mother who gave me that link to begin with. I plan on knitting a little rainbow of them and sitting them along my front window sill once I’m finished all my other projects. (And my icon is a wee octokitty modeled after my first cat, who was a sweetie.)
