Hi all! I recently came across this image:

and fell IN LOVE. The image is too small for me to zoom in and really examine the stitches but from what I can tell…

The jumper itself is knitted in stocking stitch but it looks twisted? Can anyone advise? The ribbing at the cuffs bottom and neck is twisted rib, yes?

Tail end: garter with larger needles
Tail: 1 x1 moss stitch with small needles
Bodice: garter with smaller needles
Arms: stocking stitch?
Cannot make out face at all
Hair: a moss stitch variant?

Any help at all with this would be greatly appreciated!

Very intriguing. I’m not sure how to do the body in perpendicular garter stitch other than binding off the space for it and stitching that section in place. It’s a great combination of stitch patterns and inserts.
