I am a new knitter, and I am sorry that this is a really dumb question. What is a DPN? Also, is there any other important terms that I should know about? Thanks for your help and remember, I am pretty new to all of this knitting stuff so dont blame me! Lol! 
No question is ever dumb if you don’t know the answer. DPN’s are “double pointed needles”.
