Thigh to ankle Leg Warmers

I have SEARCHED for a thigh length leg warmer pattern and the closest I can find if this:

http://www.chicknits.com/leggochic.html

It does give decrease directions for thigh to knee but does that actually mean thigh to ankle? It doesn’t give how many more stitches to CO for a thigh circumference.

My questions are:

  1. Has anyone seen a pattern for 27-30 inch (thigh high) leg warmers?

  2. If I were to lengthen this, how much negative ease should I use if my thigh circumference is 20 inches? Will I still be able to use the decreases given?

Annie Modesitt

has these thigh high silk stockings that are just delicious. I checked the book out at my library down the street. This book is truly inspiring :inlove: :knitting: .

Those are lovely! I will have to check that book out, too.
