I purchased a Wonder Loom from Savers and did not notice it did not have directions in the box. It is not the wonder sock loom. This loom is made of plastic and is quite large. There are four long parts of the loom (probably about 2.5 feet for each part). There is a number stamped on it “R-60-4552”. I have tried searching the web for the number and for the name but I have not found anything. The pictures on the box look like they are definately from the 70’s. Any help would greatly be appreciated. I would really like to use the loom…just dont really know where to start.
This is a hand knitting website so you’ll probably find more info on Google. Search for “wonder loom instructions”.
ETA… Oh I see you already tried. Yeah, these old looms are hard to find info on…can you take a picture and post it?

I’m not sure I can really be of any help myself. I thought if we saw a pic someone might know of a site or similar loom. I don’t know of one offhand.

Ohhhh…I see. It’s more of a weaving loom. If I find something I’ll post it.

You might try contacting the person who runs this blog: http://brownbobbin.blogspot.com/2010/07/wonder-loom.html because it looks like she bought a Wonder-Loom in 2010 (hope that’s not you). Maybe she has the instructions or can give you some guidance.
At any rate, it looks like from her blog description that this is more of a [U]weaving[/U] loom rather than a knitting loom.
I would think that any video or tutorial giving the basics of weaving on a similar looking loom would give you the information you need.
Is that all the parts that came with it? Is there a way to put the 4 bars together?
I’m not finding anything specific, but if that’s all you got I think some stuff is missing. :??
ETA- oh good call Antares! I never saw that site. The box does look the same. If it is I think the round loom info might still work regarding getting it started.
OMG…you guys found it!!! Thank you so much for your help. I was thinking I was the only one in the world that had one. I will definately shoot an email to them to see if they have any directions or patterns. If not, I will see if I can just go off of something for any other weaving loom.

Maybe learn to knit with 2 needles if you don’t now.
