The "Tulip Baby Sweater"..have you seen it yet?

I first saw this beautiful sweater on the Yarn Harlots blog two days ago. I loved it and knew I wanted to make it too.:oo:

After some research  I found a shop that is selling the kit for only $34.00. I just got off the phone and placed my order. I think it’s just beautiful.:cheering:

Here is the place I got it from…scroll down a little and the picture is there.

I saw it and loved it, too. I just wish they sold it w/o the yarn…pattern only.

ETA: Spoke too soon! I see they DO sell the pattern only!

Yes, that site has the pattern only, the whole kit AND just the yarn and they call it “refill”. So they pretty much have it every way anyone could possibly want to order it…except finished.:rofling:

That’s lovely but from a quick look I gather I could not get the pattern online? (Purchase I mean).

I’m also wondering how a boy pattern would be different from a girl’s for that sort of item and age!

You can call or send an email.

I think the colors are what make it different in this case.

:inlove: how cute! :inlove:

Does anyone have the size range for this pattern handy?
TIA. =)

I really have no idea on the size of this. I wont’ know until I receive the kit.

YES, you can order just the pattern. Read their site and all of the information is there. I’m sure if you called and asked them they’d have the size information. Let the rest of us know if you do! Otherwise when I get the kit I’ll post here about the sizing too.:cheering:

I like this pattern for a boy much better…take a look below…

I like those colors too.

Wow…I got the kit in the mail TWO days after I ordered it. Now that’s great Customer Service!!:cheering:

The size on the sweater says size 6 to 9 months. Finished chest measurment is 20 inches and finished length is 11 inches.

The kit yarn is “Worsted Superwash Merino” and the sweater is knit from the top down with no seaming.:happydance:

Go to the Knit-a-Long forum (KAL) and there is thread there where at least one person is making it.

Is that the baby sweater the Yarn Harlot has been making? And making and making??? I think she’s finished three! If it is that one, there are photos on her site posted yesterday. It’s a beautiful sweater! samm

I couldn’t find knit along :waah: on this iy is too cute… where do I get the pattern?:waving::blooby::woohoo:

That’s the one.

I just found out that my LYS in Fond du Lac, WI has both the boy and girl pattern for sale as well as kits if anyone is interested. They do not have a web page, but can be reached by email at theknittingroom@charterinternet.net or by phone at 920-906-4800.

I just bought the girl’s kit today and can’t wait to start.

My LYS, The Knitting Room in Fond du Lac, WI has the patterns for both the boy and girl versions of this sweater. You can see both here at the Dream in Color site http://www.dreamincoloryarn.com/pages/patterns.html

I just bought the kit for the girl’s Tulip sweater and can’t wait to start. The yarn is beautiful in both color and how it feels.

I was the one who posted about the Knit Along. I just finished it.

It is a very easy pattern and there are no seams in this. The only part that stumped me was the ICord. I know how to make one and that’s easy but I could not figure out how to make it while attaching it to the sweater at the same time.

The yarn I LOVE. I plan to make it again in a larger size.

Here is a better picture of it.

I ordered my kit from here and I received it in TWO days. I’m very happy with their service.

I’m done with the girl one but I do also like the boy one. I may have to order that kit soon too. I wish they gave more information on their site.

That is soooo cute! If you have the pattern now why order the kit?
