The Show Must Go ON: Normans Blog

What’s your next production?

Peter Pan… with audience Fly Over  it will be fun… anyone that wants to come, tickets are on sale… starts like September 29th or something and runs for 3 weeks… heh

heh, let me put on my runnin’ shoes and I’ll be right over there to get it. hehe, Seriously, I wouldn’t mind seeing Peter Pan again. can you have the troupe come out to Twin Falls?

heh I don’t think they’d let the kids go…

COOOOL!!!

You want me to make them some fake permission slips??

Ugghhhh… Finally some slow time… maybe I can get back to knitting… it’s beena while…

The theater has been keeping me out to past 1am the last week and a half… But I’m trying to “be back”

Let’s see how that goes

Glad to see you, Dave!!

HI, Dave! :waving: It’s nice to have you back.

Arrrghhhhh

Wouldn’t it figure… today I went to go gather all my knitting supplies after a few months off AND after moving… and I can find everything BUT my Interchangable needle set…

Good god world… what’s going on?!

Ugggh

OMG I would DIE without my interchangeable set!!!

IF you want to watch progress of it… just go to the “LB BIG Scarf” link in the profile a nd on the right, I have subpages by day! Yuuuppper

That color is GREAT, Dave! I have only seen BIG in bright rainbow-ey colors…Its got to be strange working on those big FAT needles.

i like it! Honkin mongo sized needles are a trip. Im working on 15s right now… what size are those?

Yeah Coulding find BIG, so I used the next best thing and it’s turning out quite well… I’m using “Wool Ease Thick-n-Quick” Still a Super Bulky Yarn… but probably not as BIG as BIG…

thinks

That was someewhat repetative…

Anyway… those honkers are the size 35 needles… It’s funny when I knit, I feel like I’m in a cartoon  [/i]

Someday I want to try out really big needles sizes like that, 35s or maybe even 50s.

I think 50’s would be hard… I mean… with big hands… 35’s feel okay… 50’s would almost be double that size… and WOW… those would be HUGH!!

Hugh? (just giving ya’ sh*t)

Actually, I have pretty big hands so I might do ok with 50s… I’ve never tried them but figure someday it could be neat to see what happens.

my first project after my knitting class was a shawl with parrot feathers ona set of size 50 needles. It was ok but a little ackward for a beginner. LYS lady showed me to hold on my lap vertical and work it and then everything went along fine.
