Yup, X, it is. You see she has RA and a few other health problems and has teenage kids; anything that can help her through a tough time is worth whatever it takes. One reason I posted that is to let people who want to make something for someone they love know that perfection isn’t necessary. We do our best and usually it will be way better than good enough. Every stitch is made with love; I’m convinced they feel that love. I’m fortunate enough to have people who actually say how much they appreciate their gift knits. I’ve trained them too: if it doesn’t fit or you don’t want it, return it to me to fix to your liking or to reuse the yarn.
How are the socks coming along? Have you cast on? Don’t get so caught up in making them perfect that she’s left waiting and waiting. She’ll love them.
