The Prehistoric KnittingHelp.com

I was digging around on the Wayback Machine on Archive.org when I came across this premordial ooze that later evolved into knittinghelp.com. This is the site circa October 2004 just around the time we secured the domain and before I made the original KH design.

None of the videos work and this pre-dates the forum we all know and love. It’s still a trip down memory lane. Amazes me that it’s only been 3 years.

The Wayback machine is a lot of fun. Take a look at Google when it was still a project for a couple of graduate students at Stanford.
Salon.com, my favorite online new site used to be an actual Salon at one point. Who would have thunk!

I don’t know. I get a kick out of this stuff!

That’s great, Sheldon!

how funny. I must say, its come a long, long way.

oh how our babies grow up so fast! Isn’t that cool?

That’s cool! I love Wayback Machine! It’s so much fun!

What fun, Sheldon! Thank you!

Wow! Just when you think big changes have happened over time you realize how not long ago that was. Great job guys!

Thanks Sheldon, not only for a trip in the way back machine, but for the time I just spent at Salon.com. Like it enough to go back and check out some more of it.
