The mother of all mess ups!

Almost done with my third pair here, this pair is promised to a friend Thursday.

Turned the heel, no problem, when I put the stitches back on the DP’s. Needle 4 was 1. How did this happen, and can it be fixed?

Is there hope?

If you finish the heel on a purl row, the next sts go on a knit row. Knit across the row and then divide the heel sts onto two needles. From this point, you’ll be knitting rounds and then ribbing to the top of the sock. If you finish the heel on the knit row, you’re ready to divide the heel sts and knit in rounds.

Whewwwwwwwwwwwww thanks,
