The last stich

Hello, All

I am brand spanking new knitter. I took a class over the weekend. I really like it and can’t wait until I get good so I can make stuff for folks…

I am having issues with the last stich. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong, but I know something is wonky, because my rows aren’t even. Any tips?? I’m assuming (please say yes) this is a common first time problem…

EDIT: Opps, I think Imeant the last stich of a row…Oppess…

Thanks in advance,
Rachel knitter-in-trainer :??

It is a very common problem. Check out the Demo of a Small Project video–it address the loose last stitch.

Thanks. I watched it once, but will def. check it out again.

Also, stitches tighten up and get more even with practice.
