For all of you yarn lovers out there in the bay area (knit & crochet), there is an event being held in Oakland, CA April 20-23, 2006. It is the Knit & Crochet Show. It will be held @ the Oakland Marriott City Center with Knitty Gritty’s Vickie Howell. For those of you interested in the class sessions, you must register when you get there. (Pre-registration has closed). More info @ the official website: www.knitandcrochetshow.com. If you’re just interested in going to the open Market, the fee is only $8 (there’s a $1 off coupon: www.knitandcrochetshow.com/springcoupon.asp). Make sure to print it out! =) I will be going on Saturday to the open Market. I hope there will be more from the bay attending! I live in San Jose, CA, which is only about 45 mins away. Lucky me! =) Woo hoo!

P.S. Can you believe it??? I’m shocked myself! My bf says he’ll even take me there! Awww!!! He’s just gonna lose himself with all the women and older ladies in there!!! Hahahaha!

I want to go…although I’m way on the other side of the US :frowning: So, I think I’ll just go to one of our LYS instead :wink:

Yeah, the one in July 13-16, 2006 is in King of Prussia, PA. Now, that’s all the way on the other side of USA for me. The Knit & Crochet Show was formerly known as FiberArts Market.
