Of course! (sorry I was pretty exhausted when I made the initial post…)
Here is the pattern for the right cup:
"Rows 1-5: Sl 1, k to end
Row 6: Sl 1, k2tog, k to end
Row 7-11: Sl 1, k to end
Row 12: Sl 1, k2tog, k to end
Continuing: Decrease in the same way at the beginning of every 4th row until you have 16 sts.
Without turning work, and continuing to hold the yarn with your usual hand, pick up and knit "through both sides of each of the chain sts you’re formed down the straight (non-decrease) edge. At first, thisis going to leave you with a pretty tight awkward row on your needle. But as you knit away from the turn, it will loosen up and knit more easily.
Taper Side and Back
Continue to decrease at the beginning of every 4th row until you have 24 sts on your needle.
Then, decrease every other row until you’re out of sts."
My problem is I’m not sure which sts are the “chain sts” and do I just pull the working yarn across the back to pick up sts?
I’m sorry if this is pretty basic, but I’ve never had to pick up sts before.
Thanks for any and all help you can provide!
