I’m knitting Hannah Burns square. What do you do on chart B when you knit 1-16 and 17-32?

I have the book, but I’m not sure what you’re asking. If you’re having trouble reading the chart, the directions are written out on the facing page. The explanation for the symbols in the chart are on the margin of the facing page, as well.

I had a lot of trouble with this square and some of the others. I found it was easier to use the written out “in othter words” instructions than the graphs. Good luck! Tillie

Thanks for the replies. Let me rephrase the question. Chart B I knit 1-16 and 17-32 . Do I keep going after 16 to 17 abd after 32 to 17 or what, I,ve had to rip it our twice because the pattern comes out wrong. After 16 I went back to 1. This did not workAnd I did something else that didn"t work. I,m thinking I should go 1-32 on first B and 17 -32 and back to one on second be.Thanks for any help I can get

OK, now I see what you mean.

Yes, the first time you start chart B, you start on row 1. The second time you do chart B, you start on row 17. On both, once you finish row 32, you’ll start back at row 1.

I was thinking the same thing. I was afraid that if I had to do it one more time I would quit. Thanks again
