My cat pulled my ‘work in progress’ vest out of the knitting bag and broke a stitch. It’s a garter stitch, made of wool worsted weight and knitted on size 9 needles. As you can imagine the tails are very short - way too short to tie and work into the knitting. And of course it’s on the hem section of the vest and I’m 11 inches up the piece so I hate to pull it out and start over!
Can anyone suggest a way to repair the broken yarn?
