I heard about this on MSNBCs ‘oddball news’ back when it first happened. Apparently it’s true.

I found the reference to the knitters review thread that was in that article you posted quite amusing though. :mrgreen:

This story has not been disproven by SNOPES yet and the mythbusters don’t want to touch it. I don’t know what to think. I’m always a skeptic though.

I know! It’s their thing! Maybe knitting needles won’t give them the kind of explosion they crave–you know, the big boom!
