Tension problems with last stich of the row

I am a beginner and my tension is good in my knitting but the ends of my work will sometimes look less even or uniform. Any tips from you expert knitters? [/list]

Give an extra tug to the first stitch on a row, this will tighten up the one below it, the last stitch on the previous row. Knit the next couple stitches a little tighter than your usual tension - this prevents the extra slack that knitting makes in the stitches from making your last stitches really loose.

Try slipping the first stitch of the row. That gives you a nice, even, firm edge.

Thanks Sue.I will try this!
